Ad Hoc and the State of California

Recently, the California Department of Technology (CDT) added Ad Hoc to the State’s expanded Agile Development Pre-Qualified (ADPQ) vendor pool.

Here’s a blog post from the State of California Child Welfare Digital Services explaining how CDT expanded the original vendor pool that they had created for the development of their Child Welfare Services – New System (CWS-NS) project. Here’s the CDT Notification of Selection from April 2017.

The overall goal is to increase competition and allow all state agencies and departments to use this new vendor pool to create new technology for people. California in many ways is leading the way in agile procurement at the state level, and Ad Hoc is excited to be a part of it.

This is in keeping with our overall strategy in 2017 to expand our work to more state and local governments. We are actively seeking team members and partners in California, especially in the capital, Sacramento. If you are interested in partnering, please get in touch and we can talk!

We are also looking to hiring software engineers, designers, and product management professionals for all sorts of positions in Sacramento. See our jobs page for a complete listing. As a remote-first company, we are open to anyone who is currently in Sacramento or looking to relocate there.
