Vets.gov is a transformative project designed to increase access to VA information, benefits and services for Veterans and affiliated users via a single portal. With the first iteration of vets.gov, Ad Hoc has taken the first step towards increasing access for America’s more than 20 million Veterans and affiliated users. Together with the United States Digital Service (USDS) and VA stakeholders, AdHoc is building Vets.gov to:
Expertly guide Veterans through complex processes with simplicity and empathy using human-centered design Efficiently migrate existing VA services to Vets.gov without any interruption in service Reliably identify and authenticate Veterans and maximize service delivery while facilitating privacy and security of sensitive information
Ad Hoc is the prime contractor for the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Vets.gov contract with the mission of building a single, unified, and modern digital experience for all Veterans. This contract consists of one 12-month base period and two 12-month option periods with an additional 12-month optional task period.
